He has composed music for dance, mixed-media installations, and film. His music is a combination of (but not limited to) rock and roll language, indigenous rhythms from Africa, Brazil, and Colombia, and musique concrete. It is performed by some of the finest rock, jazz, classical, and avant-garde musicians in New York and New Orleans - many of whom are long-time friends with musical voices that cannot be notated.
